Gillingham Rising is built by people who care about the town. Whether you live locally, run a business, volunteer, create, organise events, or simply have an idea, there are lots of ways to be part of it.
We are currently planning Harvest on the Meadow, a Halloween event and community activity in the build-up to Christmas. We would love to hear from anyone who would like to support, contribute or take part.
Ways to get involved
Volunteer
Help with events, welcoming visitors, setting up, stewarding, local promotion, photography, admin or community outreach.
Trade or hold a stall
Register your interest in future events, including Harvest on the Meadow and seasonal town activity.
Support as a local business
Take part in High Street activity, offer a promotion, sponsor an event, donate a prize or help spread the word.
Perform or demonstrate
We would love to hear from local musicians, schools, clubs, groups, performers, makers and demonstrators.
Sponsor or support an event
Support community activity, town-centre footfall and future events through sponsorship, donations, prizes or practical help.
Share an idea
Tell us what you would like to see happen in Gillingham’s High Street, green spaces or community areas.
