Gillingham Rising is a community-led initiative focused on bringing more life, visibility and energy to Gillingham’s high street, events and community spaces.
The project is about working together: local residents, businesses, groups, volunteers and organisations all playing a part in helping the town feel active, welcoming and full of possibility.
Our purpose
Gillingham Rising exists to support practical, positive activity that helps the town thrive. We want to celebrate what is already good about Gillingham, encourage more people to use the town centre, and create opportunities for local people to connect and contribute.
